Role

To provide organisational and administration support for the department, including sub-contracting functions where applicable, supporting the needs of our customers and providing excellent customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all customer enquiries are responded to quickly and efficiently and in accordance with agreements
  • Amend customer equipment database to reflect latest list of equipment or items following last engineer visits
  • Ensure all invoices are completed accordingly for prompt payment i.e. purchase order request
  • Courtesy follow up calls to ensure customer expectations are always being delivered, including regular customer updates regarding outstanding tasks
  • Support field-based engineers so they perform their duties to the best of their ability
  • Support allocation and organisation of engineer workloads to improve turnover, utilisation and minimise number of non-conformances (i.e. expired items)
  • Manage engineer records (i.e. holiday requests, absence, overtime etc.)
  • Manage captive or specialised equipment by sub-contracting to approved companies and ensure completion by due date, minimising number of non-conformances (i.e. expired items)
  • Resolve and close customer complaints applicable to your actions
  • Cross functional team working to deliver engineering excellence and high customer satisfaction
  • Other ad-hoc tasks necessary to support the business

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Customer focus attitude, with a polite and professional manner

  • Excellent levels of communication at all levels
  • Works well in a team environment
  • IT literacy
  • 5 GCSE’s including English and Mathematics

Salary

£20,000.00 – £24,000.00 per year
