Role
To provide organisational and administration support for the department, including sub-contracting functions where applicable, supporting the needs of our customers and providing excellent customer service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all customer enquiries are responded to quickly and efficiently and in accordance with agreements
- Amend customer equipment database to reflect latest list of equipment or items following last engineer visits
- Ensure all invoices are completed accordingly for prompt payment i.e. purchase order request
- Courtesy follow up calls to ensure customer expectations are always being delivered, including regular customer updates regarding outstanding tasks
- Support field-based engineers so they perform their duties to the best of their ability
- Support allocation and organisation of engineer workloads to improve turnover, utilisation and minimise number of non-conformances (i.e. expired items)
- Manage engineer records (i.e. holiday requests, absence, overtime etc.)
- Manage captive or specialised equipment by sub-contracting to approved companies and ensure completion by due date, minimising number of non-conformances (i.e. expired items)
- Resolve and close customer complaints applicable to your actions
- Cross functional team working to deliver engineering excellence and high customer satisfaction
- Other ad-hoc tasks necessary to support the business
Qualifications & Requirements
- Customer focus attitude, with a polite and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent levels of communication at all levels
- Works well in a team environment
- IT literacy
- 5 GCSE’s including English and Mathematics
Salary
£20,000.00 – £24,000.00 per year
