My client is an established market leader in providing high quality electrical and electronic control systems.

Due to growth we are looking for several members of staff who will be an integral part of the team and be involved in projects that are both interesting and challenging.

The Role

 The role will be wiring electrical control panels to specification. Working to schematic wiring diagrams and General Arrangement Drawings to produce or assist in the production of electrical control panels either by working alone or as part of a team.

You will be liaising closely with the engineering team to identify problems, raise awareness of potential issues and generally assist in the smooth running of assigned projects through production.

Comply with Workshop Safety Standards and assist in the development of Workshop Safety Standards wherever possible.

Comply with Quality Assurance Procedures, applicable to control panel manufacture.

Ensure compliance with all external electrical/component regulations such as cable and fuse sizing.

Requirements

  • Experience of wiring electrical control panels is preferred
  • Able to read electrical schematics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and able to work as part of a team
  • Commutable to Nelson, Lancashire
